DIRECTION TO THE GUESTHOUSE: From Jičín, go in the direction of Nová Paka and Vrchlabí. In Vrchlabí at the crossroads by the Benzina petrol station, go straight for another 2 km in the direction of Špindlerův Mlýn. At the Opel service centre, turn left in the direction of the town centre, and after 1 km, again left up the hill (Jankův kopec) to Pension EVA.

LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS: The mountain town of Vrchlabí is situated in a valley in the upper part of the Labe (Elbe) River at the foot of the slopes of Předního Žalý and Jankův kopec at an altitude of 477 metres above sea level. It is ideally located in the middle of the Krkonoš mountain massif and is rightfully called "The Gateway to the Krkonoš Mountains". The guesthouse is located in a quiet villa district, yet is only a ten-minute walk to the town centre.

ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES: Hiking - the source of the Labe River, Sněžka, Labe Waterfall, cable car to Černa hora (Black Mountain), Harrachov, and Mumlav Waterfall; cycling - mountain bike rentals right at the guesthouse, rental of hiking maps, tennis courts, swimming, fishing, golf. In winter there is skiing (ski lift only 100 m from the guesthouse, 6 ski lifts in Vrchlabí), snow tubing, sledding runs of 4 km, skating; also paragliding, horse-back riding, water sports, sport airplane flying, a flying school, scenic flights. Ski rentals and the ski school is only 50 m from the guesthouse. There are some cultural activities, historical monuments, a chateau park, monastery, concerts, etc.

ACCOMMODATION: The capacity of the guesthouse is 20 people. There are 2-, 3-, and 4-bed rooms with balconies available, as well as 2 fully equipped kitchenettes. Each family suite has its own shower and WC. All the rooms have been newly built, therefore will satisfy the most discriminating client. You can borrow a child's bed for free.
The building uses gas heating. The guesthouse has a dining room and billiard. There is also satellite television, a sunny terrace with garden furniture, and a fireplace for evening grilling (upon agreement). The flower garden surrounding the guesthouse is sure to please families and children. Parking is possible on the premises. The road to the guesthouse (which is only 500 m from the town centre) is accessible to cars even in winter. The owner of the guesthouse is always at your disposition and would be pleased to help you plan your trips.
